8 Returning Food & Wine Festival Favorites
Here at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, we look forward to the Food & Wine Festival all year. And the only thing more exciting than learning about the new delicacies making their debut is finding out which of our faves from last year will be returning to delight our senses once more. We’re thrilled to say that the Brazil, Cuba, French Quarter, Hawaii, Island Freeze, Italy, Ireland, Japan, Mediterranean, South Korea, and Virginia kiosks will all be returning for Food & Wine 2019.
Here are a few of our returning favorites, but we’d love to hear yours as well! Let us know which of our delicious dishes you’ll be saving your Sampler credits for on social media with #BuschGardensVA.
Cuban Sandwich
Mambo up to the Cuba kiosk to enjoy a Cuban sandwich. With roasted pork, ham, a dill pickle, and mustard pressed in Cuban bread, what better way to evoke the flavors of Havana?
Korean BBQ Pork Ribs
Enjoy the sweet and savory flavors of Korean BBQ pork ribs at the South Korea kiosk. These tender ribs are dripping in a spicy chili BBQ glaze and served over traditional gochujang slaw.
Bananas Foster Cheesecake
Looking for a little something to satisfy your sweet tooth? The French Quarter kiosk has you covered. You won’t want to miss this vanilla and pecan-crusted cheesecake with orange rum caramel sauce and sliced bananas. Bon appétit!
She-Crab Soup
Go local with this classic Virginia dish. This crab bisque is finished with sherry and an Old Bay crostini, topped with Chesapeake blue crab salad.
Tuna Poke
Say Aloha to the Tuna Poke at the Hawaii kiosk. Melt in your mouth sushi tuna is served with soy and sesame in a crunchy wonton flower, finished with wasabi aioli for a touch of heat and served with a wakame seaweed salad.
Churrasco
Que saudade! We can’t wait to return to the churrasco at the Brazil kiosk. Succulent grilled beef slathered in chimichurri sauce? Mais um!
Bangers with Colcannon
Do it for the craic! This hearty dish can be found at the Ireland kiosk. Irish sausage with lashings of Guinness brown sugar gravy is served with mashed potatoes and cabbage.
Lettuce Wrap
Journey to Japan with a refreshing lettuce wrap. Vegetables and tofu are wrapped in tender butter lettuce with toasted almonds and sweet chili dipping sauce. 楽 し め
