Busch Gardens Williamsburg is proud to salute the individuals and families of those who serve, and have served, in the United States Armed Forces. For the dedication, courage and sacrifice they have given this country, we want to thank them with a special event in their honor.

Join us for Busch Gardens’ Military Appreciation Week from July 1 – 7, as we share our appreciation for the dedication, courage and sacrifice given to our beloved country. Enjoy family-friendly fun with military bands, a nightly patriotic fireworks display, and specialty shopping. Fly, soar and dive on our world-class lineup of attractions, including Loch Ness Monster: the Legend Lives On, the world's first and only remaining interlocking-loop roller coaster, with ALL-NEW thematic and experiential elements. Then rock out to three different military bands in Das Festhaus. Celebrate quality time with family and friends at The World’s Most Beautiful Theme Park adorned in red, white and blue during Military Appreciation Week.

Service Members and their families can show a valid Military ID for an additional 10% off in-park shopping and dining.

Military Bands

Located in Das Festhaus, three military bands fill the park with spirited sound during this special event. Be sure to catch these exclusive performances and let the infectious beats fill you with pride.
