A Sesame Street Halloween Event

Celebrate silly, not-too-spooky fun. Children can come dressed up to join in the costume parade and participate in other family-friendly activities during this daytime event.

Know Before You Go

There are two Halloween events during the fall season. The Count's Spooktacular is geared toward children under 9 and happens during the day, while Howl-O-Scream® is meant for an older audience and begins at 6 p.m. Here are a few tips to keep in mind this Halloween.

    Our fall décor includes Halloween decorations, which may have spooky elements.

    If your child’s costume has a mask or prop, we ask for you to kindly leave those at home.

    Kid Play Areas

    Land of the Dragons® and Sesame Street® Forest of Fun™ will close at 5 p.m.

  • Jack-o-lantern icon in yellow

    Nighttime Scares

    Be aware -- at 6 p.m. Howl-O-Scream begins and our scare actors, dim lighting and fog come out.

Halloween Costumes

Whether a superhero, princess or something created from their own imagination, children 9 years old and younger are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes for this Halloween event.

Parade & Dance Parties

You won’t want to miss The Count’s Countdown to Halloween kids’ show, dance parties and a parade (from Elmo’s Castle to the Globe Theatre) at the end of the day before the haunts start in the evening.
