Christmas Town: Virginia’s Largest Christmas Event

The holidays shine brightest at Busch Gardens® Christmas Town™, celebrating 15 years of festive fun in 2024. Returning on select dates from November 15 through January 5, the world’s most beautiful theme park will once again be transformed with over ten million twinkling lights; one of the largest light displays in North America. Guests can enjoy heartwarming holiday shows, rides on over 25 rides and coasters, including the all-new Loch Ness Monster: The Legend Lives On; making its Christmas Town debut.

Entry into Busch Gardens Williamsburg Christmas Town is included with Busch Gardens Williamsburg Basic, Unlimited, Premier and Platinum Memberships; and a 2024/2025 Military Pass. Guests can enjoy this festive holiday event with a Christmas Town Ticket, Christmas Town Fun Card, Christmas Bounce Ticket or a vacation package.

Many of our park rides and kid attractions will open during the Christmas Town event. Be sure to get front-of-line access to our most popular rides.

Santa Claus will be at Busch Gardens Christmas Town from November 15 through January 5, 2025 in Wilkommenhaus, located in the Germany area of the park. The jolly man himself will take a break from his busy holiday schedule to meet and take photos with your family at Santa's Workshop.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg will be open Christmas Eve from 2 p.m. – 10 p.m., and Christmas Day from 2 p.m. – 10 p.m.

You can rent wheelchairs and ECVs at the park’s entry or save time by reserving a wheelchair or stroller rental before you arrive. Just show your receipt, pick up and go!

Christmas Town remains open during inclement weather. However, colder temperatures or inclement weather conditions may impact ride operations.

In the unlikely event the park does not open on a scheduled day, dated tickets for that day will automatically be extended for a visit within six calendar days following the date on your ticket to allow guests the opportunity to visit.

Complimentary and discounted Waved of Honor 1-Day Tickets to Busch Gardens Williamsburg expire November 3, 2024 and are not valid for Christmas Town.

Any group of 15 or more guests can qualify for group ticket pricing. Group tickets must be purchased in advance through our group sales team to receive the discounted rate. Our standard Food and Beverage policy applies during Christmas Town. Outside food and drinks may not be taken into the park, but you can bring water bottles. Guests who have special dietary needs should contact Guest Relations for more information.

Located in Oktoberfest, Pick up stocking stuffers and one-of-a-kind personalized finds at the traditional outdoor Mistletoe Marketplace, offering an array of handmade gifts from local craft vendors.

Photos taken at Rudolph & Friends in Festa Italia and Frosty & Gingy in France can be added to your PhotoKey. A digital photo package must be purchased in order to have the photos taken at Santa’s Workshop, Santa’s Fireside Feast presented by Coca-Cola®, and Father Christmas in order to have the digital assets added to your PhotoKey product.
