Busch Gardens Williamsburg is turning 50 years old on May 16, 2025 and we’re honoring five decades of thrills with a parkwide celebration! 50 Years of Busch Gardens Williamsburg: A Lookback Presentation
On Friday, May 16 at 6:00PM, visitors are invited to join park leadership in the Globe Theatre for 50 Years of Busch Gardens Williamsburg: A Lookback Presentation. Led by Park President Kevin Lembke, this presentation will transport guests throughout the past 50 years and share more of what is in store for 2025. The presentation will include historical photos, favorite stories and special guests. Plus, the first 1000 guests to arrive will receive a limited-edition 50th Anniversary item.

Get ready to party like it's 1975! Our 50th Anniversary Celebration features immersive entertainment all day long. Beloved throwback characters will meet guests throughout the day, and Trademark, a 1970’s cover band will rock the Das Festhaus. Plus, former members of the Starlight Orchestra will reunite for two performances, honoring their iconic Italy show. Visitors can end the night with both a DJ dance party at 7pm and a fireworks finale at 9pm, offering non-stop fun from start to finish!
