5 Ways to Light Up Your Summer

We’re gearing up for a sparkling summer at Busch Gardens Williamsburg! While the days are sure to be brilliant, Summer Nights from June 28 to August 11 will leave you dazzled. Read on for five ways to light up your summer at Busch Gardens.

Summer Nights Live

We’re heating things up this summer with an over-the-top lineup of entertainment from America’s Got Talent and Britain’s Got Talent performing in our Globe Theatre. Get lost in a blaze of lights and illusion during performances by Light Balance, Fighting Gravity, and Freckled Sky. Feel the reverberations of the Earth Harp deep in your soul during a show by William Close & The Earth Harp Collective. Lose track of whether you’re gasping with laughter or awe as you watch a comedic juggling act by The Passing Zone. And have a stellar time clapping along to the beat during a dance performance by Boogie Storm! We'll be featuring a fresh, new act each week, so be sure to catch them all! 

Glow

Take part in the blaze of lights yourself with our special glow merchandise! Whether you’re twirling a flashing unicorn wand or slashing through the air with a twinkling bubble sword, we appreciate your help in making Summer Nights 2019 as light bright as possible! Accessorize with light-up animal ears, necklaces, and glasses to complete your lewk.

Spark

When the sun goes down, the night lights up. Back for its second year, Spark presented by Coca Cola is summer’s greatest party. This laser light show features a cast of ten party-starters, laser lights, and a heart-pounding soundtrack. You’ll be seeing stars after this!

Fireworks

Feast your eyes on our stunning fireworks display every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of Summer Nights, plus July 3 and 4. You’ve never seen sparklers, Catherine wheels, or Roman candles like this before! You’ll be able to enjoy our glittering fireworks from anywhere in the park, but be sure to sign up for a Rhine River Cruise for the best seats in the house!

Light Up Coasters

Finally, a summer night spent at Busch Gardens Williamsburg wouldn’t be complete without catching a thrill on one of our world-class coasters. You’ll be able to spot Griffon at any time of the day or night when it’s lit up for Summer Nights—be sure to catch a ride after dark for a coaster experience unlike any other!
