What do I do after I have purchased my Membership?

Beginning October 1, 2018, Busch Gardens Williamsburg has upgraded the way that you redeem your Membership. You now have the ability save your Membership barcode on your phone, via a live barcode or go straight to the gate with your printed confirmation voucher. Once you have received your order confirmation email, you will have three options:


Option 1: Print the Membership from your home computer and use the printed eTicket each time you visit.


Option 2: Download the Membership onto your mobile device and save it to your photos or login to your Membership portal and save your electronic Membership to your Apple Wallet.


Option 3A: Download your Membership and proceed to a Ticket Window (Zone A) if you want to redeem your Membership BEFORE you go into the park on your FIRST visit.

Option 3B: After a visit or two to the park, you decide that you do not want to use Option 2 anymore. Please proceed to a self service ticketing kiosk (Zone B). Using your printed voucher or electronic voucher.

•  Select Membership Options

•  Scan your barcode

•  Print your Pass


Note: If you print your card at the park (Option 3), the original barcode number that you were issued via email will be deactivated and the new one will be active.


Platinum Members who wish to use their free Ride Again Access must print their Membership card (Option 3).

I purchased a Premier Membership prior to October 1, 2018. Do I still get the benefits that I received when I purchased my Membership?

Yes, Members with a Premier Membership who joined prior October 1, 2018 will have access to the following benefits:

• Our sister parks around the country: Aquatica (FL, TX and CA), Adventure Island (FL), Busch Gardens (VA and FL)*, SeaWorld (FL, TX and CA), Sesame Place (PA) and Water Country USA (VA)

• Free Preferred Parking at the Williamsburg parks (as available)

30% off at select shopping locations

15% off at select dining locations

Four (4) Free Guest Tickets to Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country USA available during select windows


PLUS Premier monthly rewards associated with the new Premier Plan. All additional benefits are valid at Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country USA.


* Christmas Town is only included at Busch Gardens Williamsburg

I lost my printed Membership card. How can I get a new one?

Membership cards and Annual Passes can be reprinted at the self-service ticketing kiosks (Zone B) located at the front of the park.


Note: If you choose to reprint, your old barcode will be deactivated and a new one will be issued.


When you get to the kiosk, follow these steps to reprint your Membership card.

•  Step 1: Select Membership Options

•  Step 2: Scan or Enter Membership Barcode

•  Step 3: Print your Pass

What is the difference between an Annual Pass holder and a Member?

Pass holders are guests with a 1-Park, 2-Park or Platinum Annual Pass. These passes are no longer available for purchase, please note that Annual Passes do not receive Bring a Friend Free Ticket or free access to Christmas Town.


Members are guests who have joined our Membership Program at either the Basic, Unlimited, Premier or Platinum Membership level, which include new enhanced benefits that offer more flexibility.

What is the difference between a Platinum Annual Pass and a Platinum Membership?

The Platinum Annual Pass was not sold after February 1, 2018 and is not part of the Membership Program. Platinum Annual Pass holders will continue to get their current benefits.


Platinum Memberships purchased after October 1, 2018 come with enhanced benefits such as One Single-Ride Quick Queue per visit, PhotoKey subscriptions, Free Guest Tickets during select windows, access to Member-only Events, special monthly discounts and offers.

If I purchased a Basic Membership prior to September 10, 2020, how will the changes impact my benefits?

The benefits you received when you purchased your Basic Membership will not change within your 12-month commitment.

If I purchased an Unlimited Membership prior to September 10, 2020, how will the changes impact my benefits?

As long as your Membership is active and/or in good standing on EZ Pay, you will get these enhanced Benefits starting September 16, 2020. The 2 Free Guest Tickets will start in 2021.

If I purchased a Premier Membership between October 1, 2018 and September 10, 2019, how will the new changes impact my benefits?

As long as your Membership is active and/or in good standing on EZ Pay, you will get these enhanced Benefits starting September 16, 2020. The 4 Free Guest Tickets will start in 2021.

If I purchased a Platinum Membership prior to September 10, 2020, how will the new changes impact my benefits?

As long as your Membership is active and/or in good standing on EZ Pay, you will get these enhanced Benefits starting September 16, 2020. The 6 Free Guest Tickets will start in 2021.

How do I get my Free Guest Tickets?

Members may access Free Guest Tickets via our website or at the park(s):

  • Login to our website in the Quick Access to Your Offers & Discounts section
    • Enter membership barcode (14-16 digits starting with the letter "A") along with the zip code associated with your account
    • Once you have successfully logged into the member site, click on the Discounts tab and your Free Guest Ticket should be the first product on the page
    • You will need to Add the Free Ticket to the Cart and continue through the checkout process

  •  Visit our Self-Service Ticketing Kiosks (Zone B) located at the front of the park(s). 
    • Select Membership Options
    • Scan or Enter Membership Barcode
    • Select Membership Rewards
    • Choose the Free Guest Ticket

 

Member must accompany guest to the park the day of visit.  Members will have access to one or two free ticket(s) for each date range based on their plan, which can be used at either Busch Gardens Williamsburg or Water Country USA where you have an active Membership. 

How many Free Guest Tickets do I receive and when are they valid?

With the 2021 Membership Plan: Unlimited Plans receive (2) Free Guest Tickets per year, Premier receive (4) Free Guest Tickets per year and Platinum receive (6) Free Tickets per year during select windows.

 

Platinum Plans (6 Free Guest Tickets per year)

  March 20, 2021 – May 31, 2021 (2 tickets)

  June 1, 2021 – September 30, 2021 (2 tickets)

  October 1, 2021 – January 2, 2022 (2 tickets)

 

Premier Plans (4 Free Guest Tickets per year)

  March 20, 2021 – May 31, 2021 (1 ticket)

  June 1, 2021 – September 30, 2021 (2 tickets)

  October 1, 2021 – January 2, 2022 (1 ticket)

 

Unlimited Plans (2 Free Guest Tickets per year)

  March 20, 2021 – September 30, 2021 (1 ticket)

  October 1, 2021 – January 2, 2022  (1 ticket)

 

The Member must be with the guest to receive their Free Guest Ticket*, which can be used at either Busch Gardens Williamsburg or Water Country USA. Tickets printed via the Self-Service Kiosks at the park must be used on the day they are printed. Tickets printed by logging into to member website expire the last day of the issuance window.

 

*Ticket must be used during the select window and will not be redeemable outside of the given date range. Guests with a Basic Membership can receive Discounted Guest Tickets during select promotional windows. Calendar dates are subject to change. Please check the operating schedule prior to your visit to the park.

What are Monthly Member Rewards and how do I get them?

Monthly Member Rewards are included with Basic, Unlimited, Premier and Platinum Memberships. Each month has exclusive offers and discounts only available to Members.


Most rewards can be accessed at the self-service ticketing kiosk (Zone B) located at the front of the park.

What are Bonus Tickets?

Bonus Tickets are free tickets available to Basic, Unlimited, Premier and Platinum Members as a Member Reward during select windows. See the full calendar of monthly rewards.


Note: Bonus Tickets are in addition to the Unlimited, Premier and Platinum Members Free Guest Tickets.

What exclusive Member Events and offers are included with Membership?

The New 2021 Membership Program features more admission perks and refined benefits, which may include (based on plan):

•  Increased number of Free Guest Tickets valid at both parks during select windows

•  Increased in-park merchandise discounts

•  Discounted Guest Tickets during select promotional windows

•  One single-ride Quick Queue per visit


You can choose from four customized Membership plans: Basic, Unlimited, Premier and Platinum. Compare each plan and see which benefits provide the most value to you and your family.

Is free parking included with Membership plans?

A parking benefit is included with Unlimited, Premier and Platinum Membership plans. 

•  Unlimited: Free General Parking

•  Premier and Platinum: Free Preferred Parking (based on availability)

Do I get a discount on Preferred Parking with the Membership plan?

Members with a Premier and Platinum Membership get free Preferred Parking when available at the Virginia parks. Members with Basic and Unlimited Plans may purchase Preferred Parking at a discounted rate, as long as it’s available.

Do I get a discount on food and merchandise in the park?

Yes.  Effective September 10, 2020 the following discounts will apply for Busch Gardens & Water Country USA:

Platinum Memberships: 50% merchandise discount. 20% dining discount.

Premier Memberships: 30% merchandise discount. 15% dining discount.

Unlimited:  20%merchandise discount. 10% dining discount.

Basic: 10% discount on merchandise (No dining discount for Basic Membership)

 

Select add-ons may include these savings. To learn more about your available discounts and offers, log on to the website with your Membership information, stop by the self-service ticketing kiosks (Zone B) or visit any cashier window (Zone A) at the park.

Do I get Discounted Guest Tickets with Membership plans and Annual Passes?

Discounted Guests Tickets are valid at Busch Gardens Williamsburg or Water Country USA during select promotional windows and regularly scheduled operating hours.

 

Members may access Discounted Guest Tickets via our website or at the park(s):

  • Login to our website in the Quick Access to Your Offers & Discounts section
    • Enter membership barcode (14-16 digits starting with the letter "A") along with the zip code associated with your account
    • Once you have successfully logged into the member site, click on the Discounts tab and your Discounted Tickets will be on the page
    • You will need to Enter the quantity of Discounted Tickets to the Cart and continue through the checkout process

  •  Visit our Self-Service Ticketing Kiosks (Zone B) located at the front of the park(s). 
    • Select Membership Options
    • Scan or Enter Membership Barcode
    • Select Membership Rewards
    • Choose the Discounted Ticket

My Membership includes admission to Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Does it get me into Howl-O-Scream and Christmas Town?

Yes, it certainly does. With a Membership, you get admission to all of our park events like Summer Nights and Food & Wine Festival, too. Plus access Member-only Events like Sneak Peek Days. You can visit the park on any regular operating day that the park is open.


Note: Blockout dates still apply to guests with Basic Memberships. Separate ticketed events at our sister parks are not included with Platinum Memberships.

Why does the Basic Membership have blockout dates?

Each Membership plan offers varying benefits. The Basic Membership Plan was designed for guests who are flexible and looking for maximum savings.

What are the Basic Membership blockout dates?

These are dates where admission is not included with your Basic Membership Plan. View our blockout calendar for more information.

If I purchase a Basic Membership and want to visit the park on a blockout date, do I have to purchase a full-priced admission ticket?

No, Members with a Basic Membership Plan have a special discounted rate to visit on blockout dates. Single-Day Tickets can be purchased for $25 ticket on the day of your visit.

If I have an Annual Pass, what benefits will I receive?

As long as your Annual Pass is active and in good standing on EZpay, you will continue to receive the benefits that are currently associated with your Pass including admission to the designated park(s), free parking, in-park discounts and discounted tickets.


Note: Free Guest Tickets, Member Rewards, Sneak Peek Days and Member-only Events are only available with the Membership Program.

You will have to select a Membership plan once your pass expires.

• OR join once your Annual Pass expires. Currently, there is no expiration date for EZpay passes.


You decide to move to the Membership Program

• Visit the parks' cashier windows (Zone A) on any regular operating day

• OR call (757) 229-4386 to enroll by phone.

How do I purchase a Membership?

The best way to join the Membership Program is to purchase online.  You can also visit the parks’ cashier windows (Zone A) on any regular operating day to purchase or call (757) 229-4386 to enroll by phone.

How do I switch my Annual Pass to a Membership plan?

If you are in good standing on EZpay, you can visit the cashier windows (Zone A) on any regular operating day or call (757) 229-4386 to switch to a Membership plan. This transaction is not available online and must be exchanged in person or by calling our Guest Assistance Team.


If you paid for your Membership in full with a one-time payment, you will need to visit to park to make this change.

What is EZpay?

EZpay is an interest-free monthly payment program designed to make a Membership fit easily into your budget for as long as your Membership is active. There is a 12-month initial commitment and then your Membership will automatically renew on a month to month basis (at a new rate based upon the then current retail price of the plan you initially selected), subject to your right to cancel at any time following the 12-month initial commitment period. You are not required to purchase your Membership on EZpay. If you prefer, you may pay for your Membership in full at initial time of purchase.

Do I have to get on the EZpay monthly payment plan?

You are not required to purchase your Membership on EZpay, however EZpay is an interest-free monthly payment program designed to make a Membership fit easily into your budget for as long as your Membership is active. Will my monthly rate change?

Your monthly rate will not increase during the initial 12-month commitment. After that, each month you will be charged 1/12 of the then-current retail price for the Membership plan you initially selected.

If I currently have an active Pass on the EZpay monthly payment plan, can I cancel without penalty and become a Member?

Yes, you can cancel without penalty when moving to Membership. On your next visit, simply visit the parks' cashier windows (Zone A) on any regular operating day to purchase or call (757) 229-4386 to enroll by phone.


Your EZpay commitment starts over once you switch to a Membership plan.

Do you guarantee my monthly rate will not change?

Price Lock Guarantee is no longer available with the new Membership program. Your rate will not change within the first 12-months of your commitment. After the initial 12-month commitment, each month you will be charged 1/12 of the then-current retail price for the Membership. If the Membership rate increases, you will receive notice of that increase before your credit or debit card is charged.

What is the Single-Ride Quick Queue benefit and how do I take advantage of this as a Platinum Member?

Single-ride Quick Queue allows Platinum Members to bypass the line through the Quick Queue pathway entrance to access the ride more quickly. Participating attractions include: Alpengeist, Apollo’s Chariot, VerboltenGriffon, Tempesto, InvadRLoch Ness Monster and Finnegan's Flyer.


Platinum Members will need to pick up their One Single-Ride Quick Queue per visit at the self-service kiosks (Zone B) located at the front gate and then present their printed Boca voucher to the attendant prior to entering the queue line.


*Not valid use during limited-capacity special events.

Where can I use my Free Guest Tickets?

Guest Tickets can be used at Busch Gardens Williamsburg or Water Country USA only.

What rides are included in the Single-Ride Quick Queue Access benefit for Platinum Members?

If you are a Platinum Plan Member, one of your benefits includes one Single-Ride Quick Queue per visit on your choice of Alpengeist, Apollo’s Chariot, VerboltenGriffon, Tempesto, InvadrLoch Ness Monster and Finnegan's Flyer.


In order to take advantage of the one Single-Ride Quick Queue per visit, you must print your Boca voucher (from the self-service ticketing kiosks in Zone B) and present to the ride attendant.

As a Platinum Member one of my benefits includes a free PhotoKey subscription. What is PhotoKey?

PhotoKey is a great way to collect your in-park photos digitally from rides and photo locations throughout the day and then share memories.


Locations include:

•  Adventure Photo (Main Gate)

•  1-2-3 Smile with Me!

•  Highland Stables

•  Select rides

•  Christmas Town photo opportunities


Note: PhotoKey is only available at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. It is not valid for use at Antique Photo or Photos of Christmas Past.

How do I access my PhotoKey subscription?

As a Platinum Member, your PhotoKey subscription will be issued as a Member Reward at the self-service ticketing kiosk (Zone B) located at the front of the park.

•  Select Membership Rewards

•  Choose the PhotoKey Subscription

Do I get my Platinum benefits when I visit the other 9 SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment locations?

If you purchased your Platinum Membership from Busch Gardens Williamsburg, you will receive parking and in-park discount benefits at all non-Virginia parks.
