Who says toboggans are for snow? Give us the warm sun and a water slide any day. One of only two of its kind in the US, what’s this ride called?
We hear you, Rampage is one of our favorites, too. Blaze down a 60-degree slide and hold on tight to your surf-boggan as you skip across a 120-foot pool.
Challenge your friends to a race to the finish line, but this body slide isn't the type of surfing you're looking for.
Rampage may not be for you, but a trip down your favorite slide is still sure to bring a smile to your face.
Where can you find a Jammin’ Jukebox?
Jammin’ Jukebox’s trio of body slides are named after three retro dance moves: The Funky Chicken, The Hully Gully and the Twist. (Any of which you’re welcome to do while you wait your turn on Colossal Curl.)
Did you know that there’s a kids’ play area at Rock ‘n’ Roll Island?.
You’ll feel your adrenaline pumping while you’re getting ready to ride Colossal Curl, but not from any retro cool tunes.
What can you find along the Hubba Hubba Highway?
You'll find plenty of surprises on this road trip, including geysers, crazy coconuts AND jets and sprays.
These crazy coconuts are a bunch of fun alongside surprise geysers, jets and sprays.
All of these features help bring excitement to your classic lazy river. The current along this 1500-foot-long river is dialed up a notch, for a scenic highway that welcomes a little speed.
Colossal Curl’s claim to fame is being the first what?
It’s a first, all right – the first mega-slide of its kind in Virginia, the United States AND North America.
We know imitation is the highest form of flattery, so we were thrilled to see our sister water park in Tampa bring their own version of Colossal Curl to Adventure Island. (Which is fine. As long as we were first. It’s a sibling thing.)
