Giving Back To Our Community

For the second consecutive year, our parks and Team Members will be connecting with local Boys & Girls Clubs to provide meaningful experiences. Last year, with the help of the Virginia community, we donated 10,000 tickets to the local Clubs. Together, we can do it again this year. 

Become A Member, Donate A Ticket | May 1 - 31

When you buy a Busch Gardens'  Membership Plan online during the month of May, a ticket will be donated on your behalf to the children of the local Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia, Virginia Peninsula and Metro Richmond*. These tickets will be used throughout the summer for the children's field trips and in-park educational opportunities.

The Boys & Girls Club Movement is made up of more than 1,140 independent organizations across the United States. Each organization has many locations which offer affordable after school care and life-changing programming in five core areas:

By purchasing a Busch Gardens Membership, you can help further expose the kids to all five of these core values. In addition to opening the doors to our parks, our Landscaping, Finance, Safety, Zoo and Marketing teams will meet with the Clubs on different occasions throughout the year to help educate the children about different cultures, career opportunities and the importance of conservation.

The Kids Give Back Too

In March, some of the children planted their very own garden at Busch Gardens. In collaboration with our landscaping team, they brightened up the park with vibrant colors as a thank you to the community. Throughout the year, the children are also provided opportunities to take some of the flowers they've grown and distribute them to local nursing homes. 

* For each (i) Busch Gardens Williamsburg Basic Membership Pass, (ii) Busch Gardens Williamsburg Unlimited Membership Pass, and (iii) Busch Gardens Williamsburg Premier Membership Pass purchased at buschgardens.com/va from May 1, 2018, 12:01 am ET through May 31, 2018, 11:59pm ET, Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country USA will donate one (1) single day admission ticket to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula and/or Southeast Virginia and/or Boys & Girls Club of Metro Richmond, for a maximum total donation of 10,000 tickets. Donated tickets valid for admission to either Busch Gardens Williamsburg or Water Country USA. Donated tickets not used by October 28, 2018 will be forfeited. Valid in the U.S. only.
