2019 Opening Weekend + Free Beer

FREE Beer for Members and Annual Pass Holders, Fireworks and More!

Busch Gardens Williamsburg is ready to welcome guests into the park for the 2019 season. This year promises to be fun-filled with great new additions, including a new attraction - Finnegan's Flyer, exciting seasonal events and special offerings throughout the year. Busch Gardens opens to all guests on Saturday, March 23.

To celebrate the season opener, Busch Gardens is offering FREE beer* for Members and Annual Pass Holders ages 21 years and older during its opening weekend. Members and Annual Pass Holders can visit Das Festhaus in Oktoberfest for one free 10-ounce beer per park visit on Saturday and Sunday, March 23 and 24.

There are even more memorable new reasons to visit opening weekend. Our zoo team will be stationed throughout the park with animal ambassadors to provide guests more opportunities than usual to visit their favorite winged, scaled and furry friends.

Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase 50% off Quick Queue and Quick Queue Unlimited to make the most of their day.

Speaking of furry friends, Busch Gardens is celebrating 10 years of Sesame Street Forest of Fun along with the 50th anniversary of Sesame Street.

This season is going to be packed with special events, like Sesame Street Kids' Weekends, plus many other opportunities to meet your favorite characters like Elmo, Grover, Rosita and Cookie Monster.

If all of these great opening weekend additions weren't enough, we have one last addition to end your Saturday night off with a bang - fireworks! The Busch Gardens sky will light up with a colorful pyrotechnic display at 9 pm.
