The Sensory-Friendly Animal Insider Tour is subject to availability. Limited quantities are available.

Park admission is not included and is required. Prices listed are per person and do not include tax. Advanced reservations must be made before day of visit. Tours must be cancelled a minimum of 24 hours in advance or total payment is forfeited. Tours are non-refundable if guests miss their tour time. What makes this tour sensory friendly?

This tour is held in our Nairobi classroom, which is an indoor location with chairs provided and an alternative seating option of floor mats if preferred. Additionally, this classroom offers a sound and light-controlled environment. However, participants for this tour will have to walk through the park to the tour location and may experience higher volume levels. This tour also features opportunity for tactile interaction with the use of sensory bins, animal biofacts, and a possible tactile experience with an ambassador animal.

Will Busch Gardens be providing sensory supplies for participants?

At this time, Busch Gardens will not be providing any personal sensory supplies (i.e. noise canceling headphones, sunshades, fidget toys, lap pads, etc.). However, guests are encouraged to bring any sensory supplies they may need during their time at the park and for the duration of this tour.

How long is this experience?

This tour is a 30-minute experience with the opportunity to leave the tour at any time if needed. Additionally, there will be a safe space directly connected to the Nairobi classroom in the event that a participant requires time away from the tour group.

Who needs to purchase a reservation for the tour?

All guests joining the tour will be required to purchase a reservation.

How many participants are on the tour?

This tour can have a total of 12 participants, which allows for an intimate experience with hands on, sensory friendly learning. Tour prices are per person. Park admission is required and not included.

Is this experience kid friendly?

Yes, the Sensory-Friendly Animal Insider can accommodate children ages 3 and up. Guests must be ages 14 and up to participate alone.
