Take on the Roller Coaster 5K.
Celebrate National Roller Coaster Day with an unforgettable challenge only at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay! Instead of running a traditional 5K, conquer the distance by riding Roller Coaster 5K four times throughout the day. Complete all four rides, collect your punches, and earn an exclusive commemorative finisher medal.
Whether you're a coaster enthusiast or simply looking for a one-of-a-kind experience, the Rollar Coaster 5K is the perfect way to celebrate one of Florida's favorite coasters.
How It Works
- Check in at the event tent beginning at 8:00 a.m.
- Receive your participant package and punch card.
- Begin your challenge during exclusive ride time on Cheetah Hunt.
- Have your punch card validated after each of your four rides.
- If needed, use your punch card for Quick Queue access after the park opens to complete your remaining rides by 2 p.m.
- Return your completed punch card to the event tent to receive your exclusive finisher medal and celebrate with a finish line photo opportunity.
Event Schedule
- 8:00 a.m. – Nairobi Gate opens
- 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. – Participant check-in
- 8:45 – 9:00 a.m. – Welcome remarks and National Anthem
- 9:00 a.m. – 5K officially begins with exclusive ride time on Cheetah Hunt
- 10:00 a.m. – Park opens to all guests
