Learn more about our animal ambassadors and hear personal stories from those who care for them.

At Busch Gardens’ Zookeeper Week, guests will learn more about the animals that our Ambassadors care for every day. Meet with our keepers, participate in various demonstrations around the park, and even go behind-the-scenes to learn more about animal nutrition and how we feed our animals.

Select activities require an event ticket to attend the experience. Tickets are available for free on a first-come, first-serve basis. Visit the Serengeti Outpost on the day of your visit to reserve a Zookeeper Week experience for the day.

Visit the alligator habitat for a feeding demonstration and an extended animal interaction.

Edge of Africa

11:00 a.m. at Lion & Hyena Habitat
Visit the Lion & Hyena habitat in the Edge of Africa to meet the keepers.

Nutrition Center Tour

11:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. at Serengeti Outpost in Nairobi

Elephant Habitat
