School Programs are the ultimate educational experience for students of all grades.

Busch Gardens is a world-class zoological facility where students can learn about animals from around the world, all in one location. Allow your students to experience unique, grade-based opportunities for up-close, personal animal connections.

 

Busch Gardens’ School Programs connects with the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards, and includes an educational guide with grade-based activities and animal information to help you make the most of your day. Due to the educational focus of the program, Busch Gardens' rides, shows, and attractions are not included in the School Programs.

    Animal Expeditions

    Join us on the adventure of a lifetime as we race around the world to discover amazing animals and the habitats where they live. Busch Gardens educators will help students explore the park’s immersive ecosystems, facilitate an animal encounter, and guide students through grade appropriate eco-challenge activities.

    Animal Expeditions is a three hour, guided program designed for students Kindergarten – 5th grade. This program connects with the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards and includes an educational guide, an animal encounter, and pre/post field trip material.

    Forces of Nature

    Experience the world of science, through the eyes of nature. How do the physical sciences impact predators as they hunt for prey? What role does genetics play in the diverse ecosystems on the planet? Discover how natural selection can impact the survival of a species during an animal encounter. Students can explore these topics and more, as our Busch Gardens educators help students discover how they can become a positive force for nature.

    Forces of Nature is a three hour, guided program designed for students 6th – 8th grades. This program connects with the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards and includes an educational guide, an animal encounter, and pre/post field trip material.

    Wild Careers

    Journey into the field of Zoological Careers and give students an opportunity to speak directly with Animal Experts on how we care for over 12,000 animal residents that call Busch Gardens home. Students will learn the education and training required to enter into these unique professions, and experience an animal encounter. From understanding the importance of animal behavior to seeing innovations in veterinary science, students will experience real-world applications of these truly wild careers.

    V.I.P Experience

    Do you work with Very Important Pupils? We invite them to experience the ultimate Busch Gardens educational adventure on our V.I.P. program. Allow our expert Busch Gardens educators to create a customized, guided program for your V. I. P. students that includes: lunch at one of our delicious restaurants, experiencing our world renowned attractions, an up-close animal encounter, and grade-based activities to reinforce key learning objectives. Reward your Very Important Pupils for a job well done, by allowing us to treat them like V.I.P.s!

    V.I.P. Experience is a five hour, guided program designed for students 4th – 12th grades. This program connects with the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards and includes an educational guide, lunch, an animal encounter, two attractions, and pre/post field trip material.
