What is the Waves of Honor Veterans program about?

Waves of Honor Complimentary Admission is a tribute to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces including U.S. Military Veterans, retired Veterans and retirees who have honorably served. 

Who is eligible for the Veteran discounted ticket offers?

Our Veteran offer is available to any former United States Service Member*, including Officers and Enlisted personnel and Inactive Ready Reservists.


Veterans must register through GovX and provide proof of former service for verification.


* Includes Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Space Force.

Are service members from Allied countries eligible for Military Veteran offers?

No, the Waves of Honor program only applies to U.S. Military members.

Are you a U.S. Veteran who served prior to 1985 and are having problems registering?

GovX will need an additional step to verify your service. Your DD214 form can be verified manually via the steps here.

How do I register to receive the Military Veteran ticket offers?

You will need to create an account with GovX in order to receive our Military Veteran offer.


Visit our Military Veteran offer page and click the "Verify Status" button. This will redirect you to either log in or create a new account with GovX.


Once you have successfully logged into your GovX account, you will be redirected to our website to see your offers.

Which internet browsers works best with GovX?

We recommend using Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Safari browsers via a desktop device for an optimal user experience.

What if I am having trouble validating my status?

After logging in with the GovX system, I am seeing the park login page instead of my offers. What do I need to do to be able to login to GovX?

This most often happens for one of three reasons:

  • You are accessing a different offer than GovX has you qualified for (for instance, you’re accessing a Military or Veterans offer page, when GovX has you registered as a First Responder. GovX can assist in this case. Learn more at: https://support.govx.com/
  • You started your process somewhere other than the park offer page to verify with GovX (either on their site, or on an external page). You must start your journey by using the buttons on the offer page on the park site that you want to access offers for.
  • You have other GovX tabs or are logged into the park site already. The easiest way to continue is to open a single “incognito” window on your browser (In Chrome: Control+Shift+N; or in Safari: use the “Private” tab) - then come back to the park offer page and try verifying with GovX through the links again.

Once I completed my GovX registration process, how will I receive my redeemed and/or discounted tickets?

After you are verified, you will receive an email confirmation with instructions from GovX. Once you complete the steps required, you will receive your ticket by email.


NOTE: Your tickets will not be mailed to your physical address. You will need to bring either a printed copy of your ticket or a copy on your mobile device to the Front Gate.

I received my tickets via email but accidentally deleted the original email. How do I get my tickets again?

If you have a Busch Gardens account and used it when completing your purchase, you can view your order history.


If you did not create an account with us, you will need to contact us online or at the Welcome Center at Busch Gardens. Please provide the email used at checkout and they will be resent to you via email.


NOTE: A Busch Gardens account is separate from the GovX account you created for verification.

What do I do if I need to change the names on tickets ordered using the GovX process?

Unfortunately, names cannot be changed on assigned tickets once the order is processed and the tickets are delivered via email.


NOTE: Tickets may not be copied, transferred, resold or refunded and is only valid for the person listed on the ticket. Will be confiscated or revoked without restitution for misuse.
