What is Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest special event?

While the general park remains closed, park guests can celebrate the Halloween season at this limited capacity outdoor event. Over 15 iconic roller coasters and rides, contactless trick-or-treating for the kids, a pumpkin scavenger hunt, delicious seasonal dishes and drinks, and more will make the World’s Most Beautiful Theme Park the only place to be this fall.  

Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest will come alive and offer all-new experiences for the entire family as they stroll through plenty of outdoor space.  Six of the park’s charming European villages will be decked out with fall décor to add to the Halloween spirit, and roaming ghouls and goblins will be lurking around in select areas of the park for nighttime fun.  

Select villages including Scotland, Ireland, Italy, Festa Italia, Sesame Street Forest of Fun  and Oktoberfest, will be open and ready to give guests thrilling rides on iconic coasters and attractions, with physically distant seating, including Verbolten®, Apollo’s Chariot®, Finnegan’s Flyer®, Tempesto®, Loch Ness Monster®, Der Wirblewind and more.  In addition to visiting Busch Gardens’ famous Clydesdales, guests can indulge in delicious Italian cuisine with outdoor seating at Marco Polo’s Marketplace.  

Also, park-goers can embark on a fall-inspired flavor journey and choose specialty foods and desserts, beers from around the world, and unique Halloween drink specials that will be spread out throughout the park’s themed villages.

Is this a separate ticketed event?

Will the experiences differ between the morning and evening reservation windows?

Friday & Sunday 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.* In addition to thrill rides and delicious fall food offerings, kids are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costume and enjoy contactless trick-or-treating and a pumpkin scavenger hunt throughout the park’s participating villages. There will also be attractions in the popular Sesame Street Forest of Fun area, The Little Balloons and The Little Gliders for the enjoyment of our younger adventurers.

Saturday 3 – 7 p.m. As noted in the reservation sessions detailed above, kids are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costume enjoy treats by day with contactless trick-or-treating and a pumpkin scavenger hunt throughout the park’s participating villages. There will also be attractions in the popular Sesame Street Forest of Fun area, The Little Balloons and The Little Gliders for the enjoyment of our younger adventurers. Jack's Nightcap, Frost Bar, and more delicious food and beverages will also be available.


Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday 5 – 9 p.m. and Saturday 8 p.m. – 12 a.m.*  The nighttime trickery begins. Enhanced Halloween theming, roaming ghouls and goblins, thrill rides, delicious food and beverages from some of your favorites like Jack’s Nightcap will be offered during the evening session.

Is Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest kid-friendly?

Yes. From 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Saturday’s 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 3 – 7 p.m., kids are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costume and can enjoy contactless trick-or-treating and a pumpkin scavenger hunt throughout the park’s participating villages. There will also be attractions in the popular Sesame Street Forest of Fun area, The Little Balloons and The Little Gliders for the enjoyment of our younger adventurers.

Are costumes allowed at the Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest special event?

Costumes are only permitted for children ages 9 and younger. 

Face Covering Policy: All guests 2 years of age and older must wear an approved face covering while in the park, including children who choose to wear costumes during Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest. Any forms of a costumed face mask or covering are not permitted. Review approved face coverings and important safety guidelines here.

Will there be haunted houses/mazes, active scares or scare zones at the Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest special event?

The health and safety of our guests, ambassadors and animals is our top priority. In accordance with our health and safety protocols, there will not be haunted houses/mazes, active scares or scare zones at Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest. However, there will be festive fall and Halloween theming and roaming ghouls and goblins throughout the participating villages to make the season come alive.

Are Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest food and wine offerings included with special event admission?

All food and beverage options are offered for a minimal charge.  Guests will be able to purchase food and beverages from the different culinary locations a la carte.  For even more savings, guests will have the option to purchase a five or 10 sample Tasting Card.

Is a Tasting Card required to attend Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest special event?

A Tasting Card is not required, however it provides more savings and options to enjoy the event’s special entrées and beverages. 

Where can I purchase a Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest Tasting Card?

Guests can purchase a Tasting Card online prior to visiting, at the park’s Welcome Center, Guest Services or in the Ireland village directly across from Finnegan’s Flyer.

Yes, however a reservation is still required for admission to the park.

If I don’t use all of my samples on my Taste of Busch Gardens Tasting Card can I use what is left at the new Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest special event?

No, the Tasting Cards are event specific and cannot be used during a different event. 

Will there be other food options available in addition to the Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest Tasting Card menu items?

Yes, there will be select culinary locations open in addition to the Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest Tasting Card offerings.

How much is parking?

Unless already included with your active Membership or Annual Pass, parking for this special event is $25.

What do I need to bring with me to access the park?

A reservation is required for all visitors. Guests will need to bring their original ticket/Annual Pass/ Fun Card/ Membership/ Friends and Family Pass/ Preschool Pass/ Military Pass, their reservation confirmation and their photo ID for entry.  Please note, Member Friend for Free tickets are not valid for this special event. 

How do I enter the park?

All guests will enter through the toll plaza, including Platinum & Premier Memberships and Platinum Annual Passes, and will be directed towards the England parking lot for special event entry.

Will the entire park be open?

While the general park remains closed, park guests can enjoy treats by day and trickery by night during the Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest limited capacity special event.  

What villages will be open for the Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest special event?

The following villages will be open for guests to enjoy: Scotland, Ireland, Sesame Street Forest of Fun, Italy, Festa Italia and Oktoberfest.

What rides are operating during the event?

Roller coasters: Loch Ness Monster, Apollo’s Chariot, Tempesto, Verbolten, Grover’s Alpine Express (Sesame Street Forest of Fun)

Rides: Finnegan’s Flyer, Battering Ram, Flying Machine, The Little Balloons, The Little Gliders, Turkish Delight, Prince Elmo’s Spire, Oscar’s Whirly Worm, Bert & Ernie’s Loch Adventure, Der Wirblewind

The attractions listed above will be the only rides operational during the Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest special event. 

 

Will all dining establishments be open?

In addition to the Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest event Tasting Card locations, the following will also be open for your dining enjoyment: Brady’s Drink & Snacks; Marco Polo’s Marketplace*; Festa Coke Market and German Pretzels & Beer.

 

*Food service at Market Polo's Marketplace ends at 10pm. The beverage bar will remain open until park close.

What merchandise locations will be open?

Do I receive any additional benefits as a Member or an Annual Pass Holder?

Members and Annual Pass Holders receive their normal benefits such as free parking and in-park discounts.  Members who received the tier upgrade should be active with those new tiered benefits.

Does attending the event take away from the extra Membership, Annual Pass days I am to receive due to the closure related to COVID-19?

No.  Your products will still be extended to match the days the park has been closed until the full park reopens. 

Is my Member’s Free Friend Ticket valid for the Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest special event?

No, Friends for Free tickets are not valid for Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest.

Can I use my previously purchased Single-Day, Multi-Day or Vacation Package ticket for this special event?

Yes, but reservations are required.

Are previously purchased All-Season Dine, All-Day Dine, Quick Queue, Stein Club & Pint Club products valid at Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest?

No, these products are not available for use during Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest.

Will the Pet Kennels be available during the event?

No, the Pet Kennels will not be open during Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest.

Will wheelchair or stroller rentals available to rent?

Yes wheelchair and strollers are available to rent online before your visit or when you arrive at the park.  Please visit our Welcome Center in England.

Can I use my previously purchased refillable souvenir cup?

Yes, however due to our health and safety protocols, filling the bottle from the self-serve drink dispenser is not permitted.  A disposable cup will be available to dispense refills.

Will the Ride Accessibility Program (RAP) still be honored?

Yes, the Ride Accessibility Program will be available during Busch Gardens Halloween Harvest.
