Theme Park Sleepovers - Overnight at the Zoo

Groups of 20 or more can reserve 1-night sleepover experiences at Busch Gardens.

Sleepovers are 1-night adventures for groups of 20 or more, beginning at 5:30p.m. and ending the next morning at 9:00 a.m. Sleepovers include pizza dinner, continental breakfast, and a Camp T-shirt and water bottle for each participant. Currently lodging will likely be at Mzinga Lodge, an on-site dormitory, which houses up to 40 guests. Please email [email protected] for updates and/or alternate considerations.

Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m.
Bring sleeping gear and wear good walking shoes (no flip flops allowed)
Required participant health history forms will be included in the confirmation package, as well as a parking pass with directions
Park admission and School on the Serengeti safaris are not included with sleepovers and must be purchased separately.

Sleepover Group Minimum: 20 paid participants. 1 complimentary chaperone for every 10 paid participants after minimum.

Payment

Deposit: A $100 non-refundable deposit is due three weeks after booking and final payment is due three weeks prior to the event

Tax exemption: Tax exempt certificate required. Please submit with deposit. Payment method must be made through the tax exempt facility booking the program. Personal checks or personal credit cards are not accepted.

Biodiversity Bonanza: Grades 3 - 5

ENJOY A NIGHT OF DISCOVERY AMID ACTIVITIES AND WILD ENCOUNTERS.

Watch and learn about the animals that star in Biodiversity Bonanza to identify each one’s role within their community.

Experiences include:

● Observing the nighttime activities of animals in Edge of Africa®
● Encountering animal ambassadors behind the scenes
● Trekking across the zoo to disclose a special interaction next morning

Tiger Insider Tour at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Endangerquest: Grades 6 - 8

Teams quest through Jungala to test their combined wildlife knowledge and puzzle-solving ability.

Groups will compete to reach the conservation Trunk of Knowledge at a final destination using clues, communication and navigational skills.

Experiences include:

● An animal encounter with endangered species
● A team scavenger hunt through Jungala^® & a relay race in Tiger Trails
● Camping out at Mzinga Lodge after viewing tigers on the prowl
● An early morning wake-up call for an interaction with our zookeepers and tigers

Survival of the Fittest: Grades 9 - 12

Team building is the name of the game here, for humans & animals.

Learn about natural selection and survival strategies, while having wild adventures.

Experiences include:

● Face-to-face encounters with animal species that model successful physical and behavioral adaptations for survival
● Interactive team-building games
● Developing ideas for involvement in conservation
● Special team-building activity that only the Elephant Team can provide!

The WILDest birthday party ever - enjoy a pajama party & meet jungle animals!
