Our teacher programs are perfect for teachers in Florida looking for educator networking in Tampa Bay. This off-site teacher outing gives educators a platform to share ideas and brainstorm a plan of action that encourages students to get involved. Programs are hosted by Busch Gardens' Zoo Education staff who facilitates standards-based, interdisciplinary activities and provides a take-home curriculum. Animal Adaptations
As the sun goes down, teachers are invited to investigate the park after dark. On this tour, you’ll see the amazing nighttime behaviors of nocturnal species and get a chance to come face-to-face with a few animals that have some very special traits.

Zookeeper for a Night
Zookeeper for a Night offers a unique opportunity to see what goes into caring for over 200 species of animals at a world-class zoo. This special sleepover incorporates behind-the-scenes activities that explore the concepts of these species’ behavior, conservation, veterinary care, nutrition and enrichment.
Program Details
• Sleepovers do not require park admission and park admission is NOT included.
• Day-of or next-day park admission can be purchased prior to event.
• Lodging will be at one of our secure, on-site venues at Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay.
• Sleepovers include dinner & breakfast, plus a camp T-shirt and water bottle for each participant.
• Sleepovers begin with check-in at 5:30 p.m. and end at 9 a.m. the next morning.
• Bring sleeping gear and wear good walking shoes!
• Busch Gardens will call guests if event is cancelled due to inclement weather or capacity-related issues.
Price: $58 per participant; 10% pass member discount. Programs are non-refundable. Rebooking requires at least 45 days' advance notice based on availability.
