Thankful in ThreesNovember 20, 2017
Thanksgiving is a very special time of year: a time where a meal is shared with your loved ones as you reflect on the past year and give thanks. Here at Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay, we are no different. As 2017 comes to an end, we would like to look back on this wonderful year and give thanks for all the cherished memories.
Here are the three things we are thankful for this year:
We welcomed several little animal ambassadors to our Busch Gardens family. From nyalas to bongos, our family grew in a big (and adorable) way. Our sassy white rhino, Winnifred, made her debut less than a month ago tipping the scale at a whopping 140 pounds. Last week, we welcomed a male Bornean orangutan that weighed in at a mere 3 pounds. We are grateful that all of these babies are healthy and look forward to watching them grow!
From daring coasters to family-friendly rides, we are thankful to be adorned the title of Florida’s roller coaster capital. There is a ride for everyone at Busch Gardens. For the adventurous youngster, there is our latest family spin coaster Cobra’s Curse. This one-of-a-kind roller coaster features a menacing 30,000-pound snake king and a 70-foot vertical lift that takes riders within inches of its 3 foot-wide eyes and 4-foot-long fangs. Riders can experience a new spin with each ride as the train twists and turns randomly every time. For the adrenaline junkie in your life, there is Cheetah Hunt, a thrilling triple-launch roller coaster unlike any other. Cheetah Hunt carries riders high above the park, and then races down along the ground through a rocky gorge.
