Sunday Funday Meets Earth Day

April 17, 2018
Join us as we celebrate Earth Day and learn more about the importance of conservation!

This Sunday, guests are invited to celebrate Earth Day at Busch Gardens! This park-wide event will include fun for all ages like...

-Interactive stations throughout the park for fun games, activities, and engaging displays highlighting our commitment to conservation

-Kids receive an Earth Day lanyard made from recycled plastic and can collect animal pins from stations they visit!

-"Critter Creations" featuring original artwork painted by Busch Gardens' animals

-Special conservation presentations in the Animal Care Center every hour from 11am - 3pm

-Exciting enrichment for animals presented throughout the day

Ever wondered what to do with your old cell phone? Look no further--at the Earth Day Celebration, guests can bring their old phones to the welcome table in exchange for a free feeding with Kangaroos or in Lory Landing! Busch Gardens is able to properly dispose of the phones so fewer of the materials will need to be extracted from the Earth.

The SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund was created to raise support for grassroots conservation projects that are truly making a difference.  We support a wide range of programs, from reintroducing cheetah to their native ranges in Namibia, to hiring guards to protect elephants from poachers, to saving sea turtle nests along the coasts of Central America from feral animals, to cleaning up beaches littered with marine debris.

Conservation is important to Busch Gardens everyday, but especially on days like Earth Day! Activities are free, and included with admission to the park. We hope you'll join in on the fun this Sunday from 10am - 3pm!
