Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Becomes New Home for ‘Bandar’, a Critically Endangered Sumatran Tiger

Everyone say hello to Bandar! He’s a 9-year-old endangered male Sumatran tiger who’s joined our diverse collection of more than 200 animal species. Bandar was transferred from Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in Tacoma, Wash., and is our first Sumatran tiger! In his new habitat, he’ll join Rukayah and Zahra, a Malayan and Bengal tiger, over in the Jungala realm of the park. Next time you’re here, be sure to stop by and pay Bandar a welcoming visit!
