In Florida, it’s basically summer all year long – with the exception of a few weeks out of the year where we dust off our UGG boots. While we know that enjoying the thrills around the park is exciting and full of adventures, we also know and value the importance of finding something that can cool you and the entire family off – without compromising your thrills of course. Here are some of our tips while you’re visiting Busch Gardens Tampa Bay this summer!
Water Rides for the Win
If you’ve already experienced the wind and thrills of our roller coasters, cool off with one of our exhilarating water rides! That’s right, Congo River Rapids, our whitewater rafting expedition, and the family favorite, Stanley Falls Flume, are back and ready to make a splash! Plus, the Stanley Falls Flume, just recently got a revitalized refresh and new coat of paint! Take it from us—there’s nothing like a water ride on a hot summer day to keep you cool.
Sips & Ice Cream Trips
Once you’re done with your adventures over at Congo and the Flume, you can cool off in the most traditional (and delicious) way… with ice cream! Our Moroccan Delights ice creamery has made a sweet return and is tastier than ever with some new menu items that are guaranteed to kick that summer heat to the curb! If sweets aren’t really your thing, and you need something to sip on (other than water – stay hydrated!), we just so happen to have FREE BEER all summer long at Pantopia Drinks & Snacks for guests ages 21 and up! Enjoy two complimentary 7 oz. beer samples during every visit through Aug 7! Cheers to that.

Take a break from the outdoor fun, and revel in some of the world-class entertainment that we have right here in our park! Whether you want to experience the electrifying acrobatic show, Cirque Electric, or catch the hottest show on ice, Turn It Up!, shows are always a sure-fire way to recharge before going back out for more thrills! We even have an all-new Summer Celebration Celebrity Talent Showcase, that features incredible performers from NBC's America's Got Talent. Plus, we also have two refreshing indoor shows at Dragon Fire Grill by, Finish the Phrase, and Kings of Neon, for those of you wanting to catch a show and some lunch at the same time!
