Busch Gardens Tampa Bay invites Pass Members to Edge of Africa’s ‘Lion & Hyena Ridge,' the largest and most immersive animal habitat expansion at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay in over a decade. This awe-inspiring new experience expands the beloved Edge of Africa area by 150 percent and introduces all-new state-of-the-art habitats, enhanced guest experiences, and unforgettable up-close animal interactions.

Each visit to the park from February 1 - May 3 brings you closer to the ultimate reward. Any Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum Pass Member who visits Busch Gardens six times during this period will be invited to attend the EXCLUSIVE Grand Opening Party of Lion & Hyena Ridge. HOW IT WORKS:

1. Visit Busch Gardens:

Let the ambassador know at Pass Member Landing or Guest Relations you’re here to pick up your Passport to Discovery stamp card.

They will scan your annual pass, write your name and pass member number on the card.

Make sure you keep this with your Annual Pass. Each Pass Member must have their own stamp card.

2. Receive Your Ticket:

During each visit, stop by Guest Relations or the Pass Member Landing to collect your Passport to Discovery stamp between Feb. 1 and May 3.

The ambassador will scan your annual pass to log in your visit.

Only one stamp per day, per visit.

3. Get Your Invitation:

Once you’ve visited six times, you will turn in your Passport to Discovery stamp card at Pass Member Landing or Guest Relations.

The ambassador will fill out a form to RSVP you to the exclusive event.

Program valid for active Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Annual Pass members. Not valid for Fun Cards or Preschool Passes. Pass member must visit six (6) times from February 1 through May 3 to qualify to attend the 2026 Passport to Discovery VIP event. Annual Pass Members must be active through May 31, 2026 and opted into email to attend the event. Limited to one visit per day. Guests will not be able to accompany an Annual Pass Member to the Exclusive Passport to Discovery Event. Program or dates subject to change or cancellation without prior notice.
